Anderton Nature Park is situated in the small village of Anderton near Northwich in Cheshire, and is home to the historic Anderton Boat Lift which re-opened in 2002 after an extensive period of restoration.

Carey Park
is named after former councillor Ron Carey. Carey Park was opened in 2003 and is situated on the former Witton landfill site in Northwich, the park is only a short distance from the town centre and is accessible through a set of two gates the Ladybird gates on Leicester Street and the Butterfly gates on Marbury Lane, access to Anderton Boat Lift and Marbury Country Park can both be made through Carey park.
Take a stroll along one of the pathways adjacent to the River Weaver and you will come to Carden's Ferry Bridge, or take a walk up to the viewing area, which overlooks the town centre and beyond.
